Cultivating Resilience

  • Columbia Gorge Community College, Hood River Campus (map)

Resiliency helps us rebound after setbacks, feel more at ease with the ups and downs of life, and lift our gaze to the far horizon when we are feeling stuck or triggered. Learn mindfulness practices to support a inner voice of guidance and reduce harsh inner-criticism. Understand our reactive tendencies, and learn to return to a homebase of calm, contentment, and presence. Grow inner-strengths that support self-worth, while reducing worn-out habitual thought patterns and limiting beliefs. Cultivate basic practices of self-compassion and enhance self-worth and inner peace. As you anchor in your inner-strengths, you enhance not only your well-being but that of all beings you encounter.

Wednesdays, 6 - 7:30pm, Feb 13 – March 20, 6 weeks, CGCC HR Campus, $115, Registration required.
